The Eye

The human eye and digital cameras have quite a bit in common. They both have light receptors that allow them to recognize certain wavelengths and identify them as colors, they both have lenses that focus and apertures that govern light intake.

 

When you understand how your eyes and brain work together to let you visualize the world around you, you’ll better understand how your camera works. In this session, we’ll see the parallel between these devices. .

This video series presents foundational Information about the simple science behind the behavior of light, how digital cameras capture light energy and convert it into colors, and revealing insights into the art of color correcting your digital color images.
